  1. Is this a reference to Dr. Who? And what is Dr. Who all about anyway?

  2. Yes, it's Doctor Who. My apologies for my obsession. But let me explain:

The Doctor is a 900-year-old alien from a planet called Gallifrey that has been destroyed. His life consists mainly in traveling through time and space, usually with a human companion, and saving earth (and other planets/gallaxies/cosmological bodies) from attacking monsters or evil aliens. He travels about in his TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space), which is a time machine disguised as a big blue police box from the 19th century. Instead of dying, he "regenerates" or dies and comes back as a new person (hence his ability to look young after all these years ... and a brilliant ploy by the producers to keep the series running for ever). He has a fascinatingly quirky personality and, well, everybody loves him. I don't know if there is much else to say about it ... but if you get a chance, I would suggest either "Blink" as a starter episode; it's pretty universally loved. But I can give you a whole list of my favs if you prefer ;) -- or ask my Mycroft, she's in on the DW thing too :D

  3. Wait, what?
I'm coming!!! (After I fetch my sonic screwdriver!!!)
PS- The Doctor would totally be best friends with Mycroft, and not Sherlock. *sticks out tongue*

  4. You'd better hurry up, girl -- though why am I waiting for such a rude person? And no, you are completely wrong. The Doctor wouldn't be friends with either Mycroft OR Sherlock. He'd like Molly best ;) So that means you and me back here on earth by ourselves, having to put up with each other ... again ...
